Whole White Turkey

Tom Carr is the owner of a small, family run turkey farm in Dumfries, himself and his partner rear Free Range Bronze Hen Birds in a beautiful woodland setting.

Tom dry plucks his woodland hen birds, this is a very traditional and natural process which allows the bird to age for a longer period of time, creating a superior flavour, tenderness and preserving the natural texture of the bird.

From start to finish Tom’s passion shines through the way he rears and processes his birds, giving them the up most respect and treatment which results in the best quality meat, deliberately keeping his farm small so the beauty of the process never gets lost.

Allow 500g per person and of course Boxing day leftovers.
